The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, halfway between the present capital Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department in a 25 acre co- conut property adjoining the Maha Oya River. The orphanage was origi- nally founded in order to afford care and protection to the many orphaned Elephants found in the jungles of Sri Lanka.

Dambulla Rock Temple Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country.[2] This site is situated 148 kilometers (92 mi) east of Colombo and 72 kilometers (45 mi) north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-pre- served cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Bud- dha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses.

Through the journey to Nuwara Eliya You can enjoy the sightseeing of Ramboda Falls. Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and 11th highest wa- terfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya.

Nuwara Eliya city tour (In the evening ) Nuwara Eliya the hill station of Nuwara Eliya (City of Light) is celebrated for its fresh climate, the wonderful scenery all around, and its “Englishness”. There are still a few patches of virgin jun- gle left, with stunted, gnarled trees, primitive tree ferns and strange looking lichen.
